NEW BEGINNINGS

Spring is here and newest crop of students have finally arrived at Crux Academy and Nebulae Institute. Both campuses are abuzz with activity as first years filter in, some confused, others excited and honored to be attending such a prestigious institution. Class assignments would be found on the large bulletin board toward the front of campus, and while some friends may find themselves once again sharing the same class, others will be given the opportunity to nurture new relationships with future friends (or enemies).

Classes for the first day will be short, punctuated by a welcoming ceremony led by each school's respective headmaster and headmistress, as well as an upperclassman that has some significance to the rest of the student body. Students are then permitted to take the rest of the day for themselves, to get acclimated to the campus as well as Galactica, should they so choose. Why not explore the school? Take a trip into the city? Or perhaps get to know your dorm mate, classmates or fellow faculty members? Or perhaps, if you are that sort of person, terrorize the town? The choice is yours.

[ Towa accepts that hand, but instead of shaking it, she uses it as balance to go into a curtsy. ] Likewise, Mami. My name is Towa Akagi.

[ To whom honorifics hold no value because, psh, princess. She is at the top of the honorifics heap. ] Shall we print our creations?

[She can add them to her collection of photo booth prints with her friends. And put the stickers on a few binders, too.]

[ With a smile, Towa prints the pictures out All By Herself (tm). When the second sheet comes out of the machine, she offers it to Mami with a smile. ] I'm much obliged!

[ She got her pictures and she made a delightful new acquaintance. This is going much better than her first attempt at school. ]

Why, certainly! And I'm sure we'll see each other again.

[She takes her print, happily, looking down at it before she opens her bag and tucks it -- carefully -- into a folder.]

[ Towa is not nearly as prepared as Mami, but she also seems happy to hold onto her sticker sheet like the precious treasure it is. ] That will be my pleasure.

[ Perhaps they should vacate this booth, then...after you! ]

[Indeed they should! Mami stands up and scoots out. Hopefully, there isn't a line. Of course, she waits for Towa before taking off, even if she has to go shortly.]
