Spring is here and newest crop of students have finally arrived at Crux Academy and Nebulae Institute. Both campuses are abuzz with activity as first years filter in, some confused, others excited and honored to be attending such a prestigious institution. Class assignments would be found on the large bulletin board toward the front of campus, and while some friends may find themselves once again sharing the same class, others will be given the opportunity to nurture new relationships with future friends (or enemies).

Classes for the first day will be short, punctuated by a welcoming ceremony led by each school's respective headmaster and headmistress, as well as an upperclassman that has some significance to the rest of the student body. Students are then permitted to take the rest of the day for themselves, to get acclimated to the campus as well as Galactica, should they so choose. Why not explore the school? Take a trip into the city? Or perhaps get to know your dorm mate, classmates or fellow faculty members? Or perhaps, if you are that sort of person, terrorize the town? The choice is yours.

[ She had long since abandoned her welcoming committee name tag once classes began, and while clubs would not officially start for another week, Lux wanted to get a head start on practice. Being a perfectionist was hard, okay? Dressed in a skirt, polo shirt and sneakers, she made her way toward the field only to find someone somehow taking up the whole width of the hall.

How are you doing that? You're tiny! ]

[ That's her secret superpower: getting in everybody's way. Hime turns around, as if to pout and grump some more...but then she spots Lux behind her. And recognizes her from the welcoming committee. Great job Hime, it's your first day here and you're already blocking sempai's way.

As such, Hime freezes up a bit. This was not the first impression she wanted to give. ]

I-I'm sorry! Am I in your way? I'm totally in your way, aren't I.

[ She's not moving, though. Too paralyzed with thoughts of 'ohhhh no, I goofed this up' ]

[ Oh dear it's a cute thing.

Lux recognizes that look. She's seen it so many times before today, and the blond softens her expression a bit. She would have thought that most of the new students would be taking this better by now, but oh well. That's okay. ]

No, no, it's okay. I wasn't doing anything important anyway.

[ Just going to hit some things with a giant Lacrosse racket, which happens to be poking out from the top of her bag. It's cool. ]

Are you all right? You look a bit worked up.

I'm fine! I'm not worked up or anything, I'm just fine!

[ says the girl who is still in the way. And not moving. And looks worked up. Hime might say she's fine but everything else screams 'she is not fine in the slightest' ]
