[ There's a nice wind blowing over this academy.

Haruka can feel it as she parks her motorcycle next to the athletic fields, the early-morning sun catching in her hair when she removes her helmet. It whistles around the buildings and embraces the students, already hard at work to fulfill their full potential and defend the Earth.

And it's Haruka's Mission to ensure they're ready.

She takes a deep breath. Then, smiling, she swings herself off her motorcycle and heads to the track to set up and test their equipment. Might as well see what they're dealing with...

Don't walk too close to the track on the way to class, students. You might get distracted by the sight of the phys ed teacher not only clearing the highest possible bar for high jumping, but doing so in slow motion, sparkles streaming from her body, with room to spare.

The twirl before she lands on the mats is just overkill. ]

You've led an interesting life. [ Sounds like they'll be splitting duties between general sports and combat training, then. That's probably for the best.

She waves to the track. ] I can handle general athletics.

I merely did what only I could do to defend the shores of my home. I would be more surprised if any teacher here has not led an interesting life.

[ It's a school for raising magical girls, after all! Nobody's more qualified than magical grown ups, and who hasn't gone through an adventure or two on the way there? ]

I'm sure you will do an excellent job, Tenoh-sensei, but if you need any help feel free to ask. I have the appropriate music already prepared.

[ Let's teach the kids to Hero Story. ]

[ ....does she want to ask. No. No, she's decided she doesn't. ] --You do that.

[ She averts her eyes to try and find something else to talk about so she doesn't end up having to inquire after all...have the students started showing up yet? ]

[ Holding the horse stance while balancing cups of water, punching big slabs of beef, jogging up mountains... Y'know, PE. ]

I will get the movies, too. [ An indispensable part of training! ]

By the way, is that motorcycle yours?

[ Haruka looks over at that. Normally she's not one for talking about herself, but she would rather have that conversation than ask why her coworker was planning on showing movies in PE class. It's a ~Haruka Tenoh~ thing. ] You like it?

[ From the way her voice now barely suppresses her pleasure at this new topic, yeah. That's her motorcycle. ]

[1wing]

It reminds me of my third bike. [ Rest in piece, bike-kun. He was slain by crashing into a Noise. ]

I have one right now, but it's parked further away.

[ Now this is an interesting development. Haruka looks at Tsubasa with new intrigue. And also with a new smolder in her eyes that hadn't been there before. Her lips curl, but not quite in the same smile the students have been getting. ] You'll have to put it through its paces at some point.

I'd like to race alongside you.

[1wing]

A race? [ Tsubasa considers it. Hers was a sports bike, but she had never really rode with anyone before.

It was probably a good chance to start. ]

I must warn you, I fly like the wind. [ And crashes into things. ]

[ Oh that's cute. Coming from other people Haruka might feel uncomfortable, but from this girl? An intriguing challenge. ] We'll see.

[ Being the wind and all.

She turns to start cleaning up the track equipment she dragged out, considering the matter settled. And much to her satisfaction, at that. ]

[ Tsubasa's so much like the wind, it's in her name. ]
